Designed for how you actually live

Pillkind is built for the days everything is hard, and the days you forget you have a body.

ADHD

Object permanence isn't a moral failing.

Calm, persistent nudges that don't pile up into a wall of red. Stack reminders, snooze without guilt, log retroactively when you finally remember at 2pm.

RSD

Words matter when you're already tender.

No "you missed it!" No streak you can break. The copy was written by someone who has cried at a Duolingo owl, so we promise it's gentle.

Autism

Predictable, quiet, exactly the same every time.

One layout, no surprise redesigns, no animations that ambush you. Optional reduced motion, muted palette, and discreet notifications that don't broadcast your meds.

What's inside

Every reminder pattern you've ever needed. None you haven't.

Most medication apps are built for one daily pill. Pillkind handles cycles, tapers, every-other-day, monthly injections — quietly, without making you feel like an edge case.

SCHEDULES

Six schedule types. Zero spreadsheet vibes.

Birth control packs with placebo weeks. Stepwise SSRI tapers. ADHD meds on weekdays only. Monthly injections on the 3rd. Pillkind just handles it.

Daily, every X days, specific weekdays, monthly dates

Cyclic with break or placebo continuation

Stepwise dosage for tapers and titrations

KIND TONE

Notifications that read like a friend, not a parole officer.

Choose how Pillkind talks to you. Soft, neutral, or fully clinical — and switch any time without losing your data or your streak.

Gentle, neutral, or matter-of-fact voice modes

No streaks that punish a hard week

"Took it late" and "skipped on purpose" both count as fine

Optional sound: chimes, single tone, or silent + haptic

REFILLS

Knows you're almost out before your future self does.

Track pill counts per bottle, get a heads-up a few days before you run dry, snap a photo of the box so you don't forget the dose at the pharmacy counter.

Auto-decrement on every taken dose

Custom "remind me to refill" lead time

One tap to mark a bottle restocked

Photo + notes per medicine

CALENDAR

See your whole month. Not a guilt-tracker.

Adherence at a glance, without the red squares of shame. Rest days look like rest days. Misses are softly marked, never weaponized. Tap any day to see what you took, or backfill what you forgot.

The kind in Pillkind

Twelve small kindnesses, baked all the way in.

Voice

Words you'd want to read at 7am.

Reminders are written, not generated. No corporate enthusiasm, no exclamation marks unless they earn it.

Streaks

No streaks to break.

We track when you took things so you can show your doctor. We do not weaponize it.

Logging

Late is fine. Yesterday is fine.

Backdate a dose with one tap. Mark it 'skipped on purpose' without explanation.

Discreet

Your lock screen is not a billboard.

Three privacy modes hide medicine names, doses, or both — whether your phone is unlocked, locked, or sitting face-up in a meeting.

Predictable

Same buttons, same place, every time.

We will not redesign the home screen to celebrate our quarterly OKRs. The shape of your routine is the shape of the app.

Sensory

Reduced motion option.

All animations off, everywhere.

Sensory

Dimmed palette.

Lower-contrast warm theme for tired eyes.

Sensory

Haptics tuned soft.

Subtle, never jarring, fully optional.

Sensory

Single-tone chime.

No fanfare. Just one note, then quiet.

Privacy

Your meds stay on your phone. Full stop.

No accounts. No cloud sync we can read. No analytics watching your taps. No ads, ever. We don't have a server because we don't want to know.

Questions

Things people ask before downloading.

Is Pillkind really one-time payment?
Yes. $4.99 once on the App Store. No tiers, no Pro version waiting in the wings, no in-app purchases. Every feature on this page is included, and every future update will be too.
What if I have a bad week and miss everything?
Nothing happens. There's no streak to break, no shame screen, no badge that grows. You can backdate doses, skip on purpose, or just open the app fresh tomorrow. The app's job is to nudge — not to grade.
Can my partner / parent / nurse see my meds too?
Not via Pillkind directly — we don't have accounts or sharing. You can export to JSON or screenshot your schedule if you want to share. Multi-device for one person via iCloud sync is coming.
Does it work for birth control with placebo weeks?
Yes. Use the Cyclic Schedule type with 'Placebo (continue)' selected. You'll get reminders every day so you keep the habit, but the app knows which days are placebo.
What about SSRI tapers or dose titration?
Use the Stepwise Dosage schedule. Define each step's duration and dose, and Pillkind walks you through. It also shows your current step on the home screen so you don't have to think.
Android?
iOS only right now. Android is on the roadmap; we'd rather do it well than half-port. If you're Android-first, follow along — we'll announce when it's real, not when it's planned.
What data leaves my phone?
Nothing, unless you turn on iCloud sync. We have no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that sees your data, no ad network. The only network call the app makes is for App Store receipt validation on first launch.
I have RSD. Is this actually going to be okay for me?
We hope so. Every notification was written and re-written with this question in mind. The voice modes let you turn the warmth up or down. If something stings, email us — we read everything.
