Pillkind does not have a server, an account system, or any analytics. The medications you add, the doses you log, and any mood or sleep entries you record live on your phone. On iPhone and iPad, you can optionally turn on iCloud sync, which is end-to-end encrypted and shared only with your own Apple devices. We can't see it, and we don't try to.
Pillkind is a mobile application for iOS and Android, published by Super Business Tools ("we", "our", "us"). You can reach us at pillkind@superbusinesstools.com. This policy describes how Pillkind handles information you provide while using the app.
The following information is created and stored locally on your phone:
This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us. We do not operate a server that could receive it.
On iPhone and iPad, you can optionally enable iCloud sync. Pillkind then uses Apple's CloudKit to keep your data consistent across devices signed in to the same Apple ID. The data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. It is visible only to your devices, not to us, and not to Apple staff. iCloud handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn sync off in Settings at any time.
On Android, Pillkind does not offer cloud sync. Your data stays on the device where you entered it.
Pillkind schedules local notifications on your device to remind you when a dose is due. These reminders are scheduled by your phone's operating system (iOS or Android) itself. The content of the reminder (medication name, time) is generated on-device and is not sent through any external service.
Pillkind is distributed through the Apple App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android). Apple and Google may each collect information about downloads, purchases, and crash reports under their own terms. If you opt in to share crash logs with developers in your device settings, the platform provides us with anonymized diagnostic reports. These reports do not contain your medications or dose history.
If you email us for support or sign up to be notified about Pillkind's launch, we will keep your email and the contents of your message for as long as we need to respond and maintain our records. We do not use these addresses for marketing beyond what you opted into, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Pillkind is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. A parent or guardian who manages medications for a child is welcome to use the app on the child's behalf.
Because your data lives on your device, you have direct control of it. You can edit, export, or permanently delete your medications and history from within the app. Deleting Pillkind from your phone removes the local database. If you are on iPhone or iPad and have used iCloud sync, you can additionally remove the data from iCloud in iOS Settings.
If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (such as the GDPR or CCPA), you may contact us to confirm what, if any, information we hold about you, and to request its deletion.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify you in-app before the changes take effect. Continued use of Pillkind after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
